Today is the 4th day of Ramadan 1442 AH, the ninth month of the lunar calendar. Ramadan is here!!!! Alhamdulillah!!!!!!!. This is a time in which we value the revelation of the Quran to the Prophet Muhammad(ﷺ). It is a season of perfecting the balance of daily habits to enrich our lives. We also celebrate Islamic Heritage Month in April, a time to be proud of the past stories and fabric that makes the stories. A time to share the culture with those around us unabashedly. But should this not be always as well. What better time than Ramadan than to take this imperative to do just that? It is a time to fill our cups so that we may go out into the community and let the vessels of our brethren overflow.

Verse of the Day-[Al-Baqara 2:185] Ramadhan is the (month) in which was sent down the Qur’an, as a guide to mankind, also clear (Signs) for guidance and judgment (Between right and wrong). So every one of you who is present (at his home) during that month should spend it in fasting, but if any one is ill, or on a journey, the prescribed period (Should be made up) by days later. Allah intends every facility for you; He does not want to put to difficulties. (He wants you) to complete the prescribed period, and to glorify Him in that He has guided you; and perchance ye shall be grateful.

Hadith of the Day- – Narrated Abu Huraira:
I heard Allah’s Messenger (ﷺ) saying regarding Ramadan, “Whoever prayed at night in it (the month of Ramadan) out of sincere Faith and hoping for a reward from Allah, then all his previous sins will be forgiven.”
